MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING
From curating the information to distributing and executing it, we plan and buy across online platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads, alongside offline advertising. Our team analyses how that media is consumed so the brand's focus and budget land where they count.
From our recent work
What this covers
- Media strategy and channel mix
- Google, Facebook and LinkedIn ad buying
- Print, radio and television buying
- Budget planning and flighting
- Reporting on delivery and consumption
Where it sits
Media Planning & Buying is one of eight things we do, and it rarely travels alone: a film needs a media plan behind it, a campaign needs creative that holds up in print and on a phone. We work across all of them from our studios in Mumbai and Dubai, which is what makes us an integrated agency rather than a specialist one.
Who we do this for
Four sectors, each with its own conditions - the language a farmer buys in, the approvals a state body works through, the second a shopper gives a shelf, the specification an engineer signs off.

Questions
About Media Planning & Buying
- Which media does More Idea plan and buy?
- Online, through Google Ads, Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads, and offline across print, radio and television. We also plan outdoor and experiential, so a campaign can be bought across all of it from one place.
- How do you decide the channel mix?
- By what each channel is actually good at for that audience, rather than by what is cheapest per impression. For a seasonal agri-input brand that means planning around sowing and harvest; for a B2B product it usually means trade media and LinkedIn rather than mass reach.
- Do you report on where the budget went?
- Yes. Reporting covers delivery and consumption - what ran, where, and what it reached - so the next round of planning is based on what happened rather than on what was promised.
- Can you buy media in India and the UAE?
- Yes. We work from Mumbai and Dubai and plan for both markets, including for brands that run one campaign across the two.
